Position Summary

Join FedEx Global Trade Services (GTS) as a Product Manager – Data, Automation & AI and lead the definition, prioritization, and execution of our transformation roadmap in Europe. You will work with business leaders, analysts, data scientists, and automation engineers to identify high-value opportunities, accelerate innovation, improve operational efficiency, and ensure that our investments in Data & AI deliver measurable business outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing

Define the Data, Automation & AI Strategy:

  • Lead the development and execution of the Global Trade Services Data, Automation & AI vision and roadmap.
  • Identify, define, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities that improve efficiency, customer experience, and business performance.
  • Establish and maintain a pipeline of automation, analytics, and AI use cases aligned with business priorities.

Drive Execution & Value Realization:

  • Own and manage the portfolio backlog of Data, Automation & AI capabilities and initiatives.
  • Prioritize investments based on business value, feasibility, risk, and ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Ensure capabilities and initiatives are delivered on time and achieve expected business benefits.

Coordinate Cross-Functional Delivery Teams:

  • Foster collaboration across teams to maximize business impact. Partner closely with Business Analysts, Automation & AI Engineers, Data Scientists, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Remove obstacles, manage dependencies, and drive effective decision-making.
  • Communicate vision, progress, risks, and achievements to all levels of the organization.

Help Build the Future Data & AI Capability:

  • Promote a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to governance models, delivery frameworks, and best practices.
  • Support change management and organizational adoption of new technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in Product Management, Digital Transformation, Business Transformation, Program Management, or a similar leadership role.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology investments to business value.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working in Agile or product-led delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe (approximately 25%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Data & Analytics, Automation, Artificial Intelligence, or Digital Transformation initiatives.
  • Product Management certification (Pragmatic, SAFe, Scrum Product Owner, PMI, or similar) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and intelligent automation concepts.
  • Experience working with business analysts, data scientists, software engineers, or automation engineers.
  • Knowledge of portfolio management, benefits realization, and value measurement methodologies.
  • Experience in logistics, customs clearance, supply chain, or international trade environments.
