ROLE PURPOSE

This is a unique opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Data & Related Services team within the Markets division of the London Stock Exchange Group. Sitting under LSE plc, the Data & Related Services team covers LSE Market Data, RNS, SEDOL, ISIN and LEI business lines.

Reporting to the Product Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a suite of market data, regulatory news and symbology products, ensuring alignment with LSEG’s product strategy. The role will lead on all aspects of definition and planning through production, release, and end of lifecycle, with end-to-end responsibility on feature/function specifications for new or legacy propositions, products and services.

ROLE SUMMARY

Working closely with the Product Director, deliver against the product roadmap, driving innovation and revenue growth for our business. This will include the development of new products and capabilities and oversight of their successful delivery to clients from inception to execution and their on-going performance monitoring. The successful candidate will demonstrate first-class product development and innovation practices, working in a joined-up way across all LSEG divisions, including working with engineering, sales, marketing, commercial, and operations teams. Answer to a range of stakeholders including committee members internally and customers externally.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Help build out the product roadmap, collect feedback from clients and from LSEG colleagues and identify innovation opportunities, assess feasibility, estimate costs and revenues, get sign off from senior management and implement
  • Drive increased sales by meeting customers where they are, including new delivery channels and ensuring readiness for AI
  • Present products to clients, support sales function and identify new revenue opportunities
  • Ensure all products comply with applicable regulations
  • Work with policy, sales and regulation to ensure a coherent joined up strategy
  • Carry out benchmarking analysis, keep abreast on the evolution of the market data industry (new regulations, new trend of market data usages) and develop ideas for new market data products and policies

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Detailed knowledge of product lifecycle management and software development principles, change management lifecycle, Enterprise Risk Management framework
  • Consistent track record of bringing solutions to market with the ability to get involved in both high and lower-level technical challenges that impact development and delivery
  • Deep understanding of delivery methodologies and assurance frameworks
  • Experience translating business strategy, analysis, and client challenges into consumer facing digital products
  • Quantitative and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent strategy building skills, knowledge of management reporting and ability to control and focus on client service, revenues, and costs
  • Self-starter with a commitment to excellence and a positive approach
