Product Manager / Delivery Lead
Rate: £390 a day inside IR35
Clearance: BPSS
Location: Hybrid – Glasgow / Edinburgh (Scotland-based preferred)
BPSS clearance is required.
Our client is looking for an experienced Product Manager / Delivery Lead to take primary delivery accountability for a digital improvement programme. The role will work within a small multidisciplinary team, alongside a Senior Content Designer, Senior Interaction Designer and User Researcher, delivering through two 8-week sprint phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the delivery plan, prioritised backlog, milestones and outcomes.
- Coordinate the multidisciplinary delivery team and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
- Prioritise work based on user value, outcomes, accessibility, risk, dependencies and effort.
- Drive decisions and remove blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
- Ensure knowledge transfer and handover throughout delivery.
- Protect delivery of the highest-value improvements within the fixed-price scope.

Essential Experience
- Strong Product Management / Delivery Lead experience.
- Proven digital or website delivery experience.
- Excellent stakeholder and backlog management skills.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary agile teams.
- Strong understanding of delivery planning, prioritisation and risk management.
- Pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with the ability to work in complex stakeholder environments.

Desirable
- Health, social care or public sector experience.
- Experience working with UK Government/GDS or similar organisations.
- Experience delivering accessible digital services.
- Scotland-based.
