Product Manager - Design Systems
Location: Hybrid, Bracknell (2 days per week in the office)
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until January 2028 (Maternity Cover) with potential for extension
We're supporting one of the UK's most recognisable retail organisations in the search for an experienced Product Manager to lead and evolve a strategic Design System that underpins a large-scale digital ecosystem.
This is a unique opportunity to own a product that enables multiple digital teams across web and mobile platforms, helping create consistent customer experiences through reusable components, standards and frameworks.
You'll inherit a well-defined roadmap and strategy. The focus is on driving delivery, increasing adoption across the business, and building strong partnerships with design, engineering and product teams to maximise the value of the Design System.

What you'll be doing
- Own and drive the Design System product roadmap
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog
- Drive adoption of the Design System across multiple teams and business areas
- Partner closely with Design, Engineering and Product stakeholders
- Act as an advocate and champion for the Design System across the organisation
- Establish governance, standards and best practices
- Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams
- Define and track success metrics and business outcomes
- Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve the product
- Ensure alignment between technology, design and business objectives

Experience Required
- Proven Product Management experience within Agile environments
- Strong understanding of Design Systems, component libraries, design tokens or similar shared digital platforms
- Experience owning and delivering product roadmaps
- Strong backlog management and prioritisation skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities
- Experience working with Design and Engineering teams to deliver digital products
- Strong communication skills with the ability to drive alignment across multiple teams
- Experience measuring product success through data, feedback and adoption metrics
