The Product team plans, builds and maintains industry-leading programmes. We build training content that changes lives. The content we build is engaging, interactive, and cutting-edge, using modern training tools and creative approaches to content development. The content we build supports Operations, Marketing, Sales and Compliance and is fundamental to the success of the business as a whole.

The role:

We are looking for an outstanding individual to take responsibility for the development and management of a portfolio of our market-leading training programmes, throughout their lifecycles. You will manage our products’ progress from concept through launch to delivery and continuous improvement, covering both the technical aspects of programme creation and the ongoing experience of our learners. The successful candidate will manage a dynamic team of curriculum experts, in the first instance, taking responsibility for our Automation with AI (AA4) and Business Impact with AI (AI4) products. You will have an excellent understanding of digital apprenticeships and experience of interrogating the knowledge, skills and behaviours set out in the apprenticeship standards at a granular level. Adopting a collaborative approach, you will be a competent people manager and develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to manage the entire life cycles of our products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive the success of a commercially attractive, regulatory compliant and well aligned programme offer.
  • Manage the entire product life cycles for our Automation with AI (AA4) and Business Impact with AI (AI4) products, in the first instance.
  • Plan and manage new programme builds as well as continuous improvements to meet quality, budget and timeline requirements.
  • Understand market intelligence, product scans and competitor analysis to determine product developments and innovations.
  • Analyse user research and learner feedback to identify requirements for our products.
  • Ensure our curriculum delivers all apprenticeship KSBs as well as stretch content that drives our commercial offer.
  • Ensure all programme documentation is up to date.
  • Line manage a team of Curriculum Developers.
  • Review and feedback on content created.
  • Support programme builds by creating content at the granular level when required.
  • Work closely with our digital development team to make our content fully interactive and cutting edge.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand the ongoing needs of learners and employers and implement our programmes accordingly.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver the smoothest possible learner journey throughout the programmes.
  • Support with interactions with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. awarding bodies and sales.
  • Recruit, induct and train new curriculum developers to build and continuously improve the programme effectively.
  • Spread best practice across the department.
  • Ensure organisation-wide solutions/policies are implemented.
  • Deliver a high-quality programme on time, complete administrative processes, and deliver positive behaviours and communication.

About You:

Experience and Skills:

Essential:

  • Strong interest and hands-on experience in process automation, low-code platforms (e.g., Power Platform, Zapier), and the practical business application of AI.
  • Strong interest and experience in leveraging AI to enhance processes and improving workflows.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the structure of apprenticeships including Standards, assessment plans, assessment methods, KSBs and EPA.
  • Experience of interrogating KSBs at the granular level.
  • Knowledge and understanding of AI apprenticeships.
  • Experience of collaborating with a team for the delivery of projects to quality, time and budget.
  • Experience of creating learning content for an AI, data or engineering training programme
