Product Manager for AI and Automation Programs

A client in the education and professional training industry is seeking a Product Manager to join the team for an initial 6-month fixed-term engagement.

You will take ownership of a portfolio of digital learning products focused on AI and automation programs, managing them through their full lifecycle from development and launch to continuous improvement. Reporting into the Product leadership team, you will work cross-functionally to deliver commercially successful, compliant, and market-leading apprenticeship programs while leading a team of curriculum specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI and automation learning programs, ensuring quality, compliance, and commercial viability.
  • Lead program development and continuous improvement activities, delivering projects to agreed timelines, budgets, and standards.
  • Analyse learner feedback, market trends, and competitor activity to identify product enhancements and innovation opportunities.
  • Line manage curriculum developers and collaborate with internal stakeholders to create engaging, interactive learning experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a digital product manager.
  • Strong experience with process automation, low-code platforms (such as Power Platform or Zapier), and practical applications of AI in business environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of apprenticeship and/or e-learning platform standards, KSBs, assessment plans, EPA requirements, and curriculum design.
  • Experience creating learning content for AI, data, engineering, or technology-focused training programs.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Details

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: Approximately 6 months
  • Salary: Fixed-term contract £60,000 pro-rata
  • Location: Hybrid - up to 4 days a week in Central London office
