Product Manager – High Speed Packaging Machinery
UK | Hybrid – occasional days in the office
Basic salary up to £55,000 + bonus, excellent benefits & company car
Know packaging machinery? Enjoy developing opportunities, getting in front of customers and winning business?
This Product Manager role puts sales first.
You’ll take commercial ownership of a high speed packaging product range across the UK, working closely with Area Sales Managers and key accounts to develop opportunities and turn them into orders.
You’ll be the person who knows the equipment, understands where it fits and takes an active lead throughout the sales process.
The business
An established supplier of processing, packaging and automated robotic solutions to the food industry, offering everything from individual machines to complete lines. They’re looking for someone who can combine technical understanding with the commercial drive to grow one of their key product ranges.
The opportunity
You’ll lead the sales development of your product range, building a clear view of the market, identifying target customers and working alongside the regional sales team to win business. Expect to be involved from the first customer discussion through identifying the application, developing the proposal, negotiating and securing the order, with a coordinated handover to the delivery team.
You’ll also work closely with the manufacturer, bringing customer requirements and market feedback into decisions about positioning, pricing and future opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
