PRODUCT MANAGER ENGINE OILS
Location: Hazelwood, Derby
Type: Permanent | Hybrid
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
In this role, you will be the strategic driver behind a key European Heavy Duty Engine Oils additive and viscosity modifier portfolio. You will define and execute product, pricing, and positioning strategies that strengthen Lubrizol’s competitive position in the market. By becoming the authority on customer needs, regulatory developments, and industry trends, you will help shape our product roadmap and ensure commercial success. Your collaboration with OEMs, customers, and cross-functional teams will directly influence product development, market penetration, and long-term portfolio growth. From introduction through to end-of-life, you will lead the full product lifecycle to deliver value for our customers and the business.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Chemistry, or Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Technology Deployment, or Product Management
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate insights into strategy
- Excellent communication skills and proven stakeholder engagement experience
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and global environments
- Solid understanding of markets and technologies related to chemical products
- Demonstrated organizational agility and a proactive working style
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT DRIVE YOU FORWARD
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Background in specialty chemicals, lubricants, or related technical industries
- Experience working with OEMs or in mobility-related markets
- Proven success in managing full product lifecycles
- Ability to interpret complex data and apply market intelligence to drive growth
