About The Role

Sulzer Water Treatment Solutions is a place where entrepreneurial minds grow. We are seeking a Product Manager for continuous backwash granular media filtration (DynaSand/SuperSand) to shape the growth ambitions in treatment, a talent who is ready to take ownership and make a real impact.

We are in search of a proactive, customer-focused Product Manager to bring our proven granular media filter technologies to new levels. In this role, you will own the product portfolio and plan its future. Working closely with global and regional teams, you will ensure solution-oriented offerings and full commercial readiness across sales, operations, and application support.

Your Main Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Lead technology transfer and localize global solutions for regional market requirements.
  • Define regional product strategy through market analysis, customer insights, and business planning.
  • Drive commercial launches by coordinating cross-functional teams and go-to-market readiness.
  • Enable sales success through training, pricing strategies, technical support, and sales tools.
  • Act as the application expert, gathering customer feedback and translating insights into product improvements.

To succeed in this role, you will need

  • A self-starter attitude with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of municipal, industrial water and wastewater treatment or similar technical solutions.
  • Proven experience and expertise working with granular filtration products.
  • Experience in process engineering, project management, market-oriented business/product development, and international work within a water treatment sector.
  • Ideally experience from Global Product Management, alternatively local product portfolio management, global/local business development, sales management, or similar.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
