About the Team
We’re Citi’s Application, Platform & Engineering team — a high-energy, startup-minded team operating at the scale of a global bank.
We’re building the next generation of Generative AI platforms, AI gateways and mission-critical technology used across Citi. Our team brings together talented engineers, product managers and technology specialists who turn ambitious, often ambiguous ideas into real products at global scale.
We move fast, challenge convention and give our people the freedom to make a genuine impact.
The Role
We’re looking for a Product Manager who thinks beyond traditional product boundaries. This is an opportunity to help shape and build first-of-its-kind Generative AI capabilities for Citi, working at the intersection of product, engineering and emerging technology.
You’ll be hands-on — moving between product strategy, execution, problem-solving and the whiteboard. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers and senior stakeholders to turn complex ideas into products that deliver real business value.
You’ll have the autonomy and pace of a startup, combined with the scale, resources and reach of one of the world’s largest financial institutions.
If you’re excited by AI, ambiguity and building things that haven’t been built before, this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear product strategies, priorities and outcomes.
- Lead the delivery of mission-critical Generative AI platforms and products at enterprise scale.
- Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problems, competing priorities and rapidly changing requirements.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, product leadership and business stakeholders to drive delivery.
- Manage multiple workstreams across fast-moving, distributed teams.
- Use data, metrics and scorecards to measure progress, drive accountability and continuously improve.
- Navigate changing priorities driven by customer needs, technology developments and the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
- Drive alignment and organisational change, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering through others.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
