Context of the Role

The Product Manager for Global Accounts and Payment Rails will be responsible for defining and driving the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Thunes' global collections and settlement capabilities to accelerate our Business Payments. This role is critical in enabling next-generation financial institutions (Banks, Wallets, Fintechs), and global Merchants to easily facilitate global payments through multi-currency Virtual Account (VA) and local payment rail integrations.

You will be an end-to-end owner, taking full responsibility from ideation and market validation through to technical requirements, go-to-market, and continuous performance feedback. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the global payments landscape, including regulatory requirements, clearing and settlement mechanisms, and the technical complexities of connecting to diverse national payment schemes. You will champion your product both internally and externally.

Key Focus Areas

  • Global Accounts: Building and enhancing multi-currency account capabilities (VIBAN, unique identifiers) for collections, in-country payouts, and holding balances.
  • Payment Rails Integration: Driving the integration with and participation in national payment schemes (e.g., SEPA, Faster Payments System (FPS), ACH, Direct Debit globally) to facilitate seamless, fast, and cost-effective local collections and settlements.
  • Business Payments Acceleration: Optimizing the entire cross-border B2B payments lifecycle to reduce friction, increase speed, and enhance transparency for Thunes' corporate clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
