Role Summary
The Product Manager will drive the commercialization of Mastercard's Identity Solutions portfolio in Europe, with a specific focus on identity and other digital credential verification services. The role is responsible for ensuring these services are aligned with market requirements, defining the commercial strategy, and making them go-to-market ready and scalable through customer facing teams such as sales, customer success, business development, and account management.
The role will translate market requirements, customer needs, and regional commercial priorities into a clear product proposition for identity digital verification services, including credential issuance, verification, trust services, and interoperability with the EU Digital Identity Wallet ecosystem and other digital identity providers. It will work with the Product Owner of the Identity services and other Identity Solutions colleagues to ensure the proposition combines Mastercard products and services in a way that is commercially viable, differentiated, and relevant to customer needs.

This role complements the Product Owner for credential verification services. The Product Owner leads product definition, delivery priorities, roadmap execution, and technical readiness; this role ensures the services are commercially relevant, market-ready, and adopted by customers across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the go-to-market and commercial strategy in Europe, including market prioritization, customer segments, use cases, pricing, and success metrics.
- Identify target customers, buying centres, and customer pain points across consumer and business identity scenarios, and define value propositions that help customer facing teams position the services effectively.
- Develop the business model for a commercially viable service.
- Identify and assess potential acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
- Lead the communications plan and its delivery.
- Contribute to thought leadership and ecosystem positioning ensuring that the market narrative is aligned with customer needs, regulatory developments, and the broader digital identity ecosystem.
- Collaborate with regional sales and account teams to support customer engagements, pilots, commercialization activities, and market enablement.

Typical Profile
- Experience from successful commercialisation and scaling of identity services.
- Experience from building and scaling eco-system services.
- Experience in product management, digital identity, authentication, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, or related technology domains.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to translate customer and market needs into scalable product solutions.
- Familiarity with identity verification, authentication, digital credentials, wallets, trust frameworks, and emerging digital identity ecosystems.
- Demonstrated success working across cross-functional teams including product, engineering, sales, partnerships, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to balance optimization of established products with the development and commercialization of new strategic offerings.
