Your mission
As Product Manager – Installation Solutions, you will take full product lifecycle ownership of Hiab’s FrameWorks™ branded installation systems and On-Truck Equipment (OTE) Globally (with a focus on the EMEA region). You will bridge engineering, manufacturing, commercial operations, bodybuilders, and truck OEMs to transform complex installation needs into standardized, market-ready offerings and high-value accessories.
In this role, you will drive product strategy, oversee new product developments (including EV integration and OEM-specific applications), streamline the commercial offering via digital sales tools, and actively push revenue growth across EMEA markets.
Please be prepared to travel to customer locations, suppliers, and Hiab locations mostly across Europe. Expectation is 1-2 short trips per month.
The primary location is Meppel, the Netherlands, but we are open to applications from other Hiab European installation sites.
Key responsibilities
- Define, update, and execute the multi-generation product roadmap for FrameWorks™, Modular Subframe Programs, MultiBeams, and Front Stabilizers
- Lead next-generation product launches and drive sales, distribution, and promotion of the active portfolio
- Adapt products for future truck platforms, including EVs and OEM-specific developments
- Partner with sourcing and procurement to evaluate supply chain options, optimize costs, quality, and delivery speed, and manage partner relationships
- Manage On-Truck Equipment (OTE) assortment across top EMEA markets and drive modular engineering and sourcing adjustments based on market demand
- Ensure full commercial availability across sales platforms, including CPQ (configure, price, quote) systems and the Hiab Webshop
- Deliver sales revenue targets and expand market adoption of installation solutions and OTE across EMEA
- Gather product requirements from customers and internal teams, providing technical build support for installation products
- Develop go-to-market strategies to boost product visibility and drive sales activation
- Manage marketing content, propose promotional investments, and collaborate with marketing to build technical and commercial assets.

What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position within heavy machinery, truck body building, load handling, or automotive industries
- Proven commercial track record in PLM, P&L management, product portfolio strategy, vendor sourcing, and supplier negotiations
- Strong familiarity with software, e-commerce platforms, sales management, and engineering configuration tools
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and program management skills to align engineering, sales, procurement, and external partners
- Knowledge about mobile lifting solutions and truck chassis architectures is an advantage
- Fluent verbal and written English skills (additional European languages are a strong plus).
