Product Manager (Internal HRIS / HR Tech) - United Kingdom
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager (Internal HRIS / HR Tech) based in United Kingdom.
This is a product leadership opportunity focused on building and evolving internal HR technology for a global, distributed organization. You will own product discovery, requirements, prioritization, and roadmap decisions across core HRIS capabilities, including Core HR and Time Off. Working closely with Design, AI-assisted Development, and business stakeholders, you will turn complex needs into clear, actionable product requirements. You will play a central role in improving B2B and administrative user experiences while ensuring secure, scalable, and intuitive workflows. The role covers the full product lifecycle, from discovery and design through testing, launch, and user adoption. It is well suited to an independent Product Manager who thrives in fast-paced, highly collaborative, and AI-enabled product environments.
Accountabilities:
- Own product discovery, requirements gathering, prioritization, and roadmap development for internal HR technology products.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and translate business and user needs into clear product requirements and actionable solutions.
- Audit existing products and workflows to determine what should be retained, redesigned, or removed.
- Create and maintain high-quality PRDs, user stories, user flows, acceptance criteria, and detailed product specifications.
- Own the delivery of core HRIS modules, including Core HR and Time Off.
- Partner closely with Design and AI-assisted Development teams to maintain a continuous pipeline of ready-to-build requirements.
- Review Figma designs and ensure proposed solutions align with product requirements and B2B/admin UX standards.
- Manage the product backlog, priorities, dependencies, and sprint planning using Jira, Linear, or similar tools.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing, feature validation, and product sign-offs to ensure solutions meet business and user expectations.
- Coordinate launch readiness activities, including SSO, Slack integrations, data migration, and RBAC/security testing.
- Drive products through discovery, development, production go-live, and user adoption.
- Gather ongoing feedback from users and stakeholders and continuously iterate based on evolving business and product needs.
- Keep engineering teams unblocked by providing clear requirements, timely decisions, and effective prioritization.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
