Product Manager - International Money Movement

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager - International Money Movement based in the United Kingdom.

Take ownership of a new international money movement product from 0→1, guiding it from early execution through commercialization and long-term scale. You will shape product strategy, define the roadmap, and translate market needs into scalable solutions. The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, commercial, compliance, legal, fraud, and customer-facing teams. You will have significant autonomy and influence in a fast-paced, AI-first environment where lean teams move quickly. Your expertise in international payments and remittance will directly inform product decisions, customer experiences, and growth opportunities. This is an opportunity to drive both technical and commercial impact while helping shape the future of global payments.

Accountabilities:

As Product Manager, you will own the product lifecycle from market discovery and strategy through launch, optimization, and scale, while ensuring strong alignment across technical and commercial stakeholders.

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities across international payments and remittance.
  • Develop and maintain the product strategy and roadmap, defining features, milestones, priorities, and timelines.
  • Analyze product and market data to inform decisions, identify opportunities, and improve product performance.
  • Partner closely with engineering, sales, compliance, legal, fraud, commercial, and client-facing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Define and prioritize features based on customer feedback, business objectives, and commercial opportunities.
  • Create detailed product requirements, user stories, technical flows, and other documentation for development teams.
  • Oversee product delivery from ideation through launch, optimization, and scaling while managing risks and adapting priorities when needed.
  • Plan and execute product launches in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
  • Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics, preparing reports and presentations that communicate product performance and progress.
  • Engage directly with customers and clients to gather insights, address concerns, and understand evolving needs.
  • Present the product in customer meetings, RFPs, and relevant industry events.
  • Identify emerging technologies and opportunities for innovation, including the use of AI to accelerate product development and enhancement.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines extensive product management experience with deep expertise in international payments and a proven ability to take products from concept to commercial scale.

  • Significant product management experience, ideally 8+ years, with a strong focus on international money movement, remittance, cross-border payments, or acquiring.
  • Proven experience building and launching products from 0→1 through commercialization and scaling.
  • Deep knowledge of international payments, remittance, wallets, and account-to-account payment models.
  • Strong technical competence, including the ability to understand technical flows, work with APIs, and collaborate effectively with Engineering.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to articulate product value, engage customers, and drive adoption.
  • Strategic thinking with the confidence to own product vision, challenge assumptions, and identify new market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, structured thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability in fast-changing environments.
  • Hands-on approach with a high level of autonomy and comfort working with ambiguity and lean resources.
  • Curiosity about AI and willingness to use AI tools to accelerate product development and delivery.
  • Proactive approach to product evangelism, customer discovery, market shaping, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with SQL, data-driven decision-making, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Tableau is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
