Product Manager | Geospatial Risk & Insurance Intelligence Platform | High-Growth InsurTech Scale-Up | UK (Remote) | £55k + bonus

Our client is a high-growth, market-leading InsurTech intelligence platform that combines geospatial expertise, peril risk data, and property analytics to empower global insurers, MGAs, brokers, and reinsurers to make superior underwriting and risk selection decisions. Their underlying ambition is bold and transformative: to accurately locate and describe every building on Earth. Backed by institutional investor backing and led by domain specialists across insurance and cloud platform infrastructure, they are actively strengthening their global platform, core data assets, and operational processes to scale internationally.

Operating in an agile, dynamic, and evidence-driven culture, our client values curiosity, technical fluency, and radical ownership. They eliminate administrative friction, empowering their people to move fast, collaborate directly with key leadership, and ship product releases that directly optimise risk exposure and underwriting performance for world-class financial institutions.

About the Role

To support their next phase of global expansion, our client is recruiting an experienced, hands-on Product Manager to own and elevate core product capabilities across three interconnected surfaces: web applications used by underwriters and risk analysts, developer-centric APIs integrated into enterprise core systems, and the underlying geospatial, property, and peril risk datasets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Reporting directly to the Product Director, this is an influential individual contributor role with zero administrative bloat or direct management overhead. You will operate as a key product leader, driving cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Data, Design, Sales, and Customer Success. You do not need to arrive as an insurance veteran, but you must possess the analytical curiosity to master the domain and the confidence to independently drive strategic product decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, prioritise, and manage product roadmaps and backlogs across web apps, APIs, and underlying risk/property data products, ensuring continuous alignment with high-value business outcomes.
  • Regularly engage directly with insurers, underwriters, brokers, and partners through interviews, demos, and user feedback to translate complex user workflows and pain points into scalable platform features.
  • Translate complex business, risk, and integration requirements into clear, concise, and actionable engineering specs, user stories, and API/data definitions.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data teams to facilitate refinement, guide delivery, coordinate releases, and provide commercial/customer success teams with the product enablement needed to maximise adoption.
  • Establish core product success metrics, analyse product analytics and API usage signals, and conduct post-launch retrospectives to continuously iterate and refine future platform priorities.

Skills & Competencies

  • Outstanding ability to conduct discovery interviews, run user demos, translate commercial/technical user needs into concise requirements, and present persuasively to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Hands-on familiarity with APIs, system integrations, data feeds, and basic data concepts to maintain high credibility when collaborating with Engineering and Data teams.
  • Proven ability to make trade-offs clear, evaluate value versus effort and risk, and successfully influence cross-functional teams without formal managerial authority.
  • Demonstrated track record of defining product success metrics, utilising analytics/usage feedback, and making evidence-based adjustments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Practical, hands-on experience independently managing products through full lifecycles (discovery, spec, delivery, launch, and iteration). Experience limited solely to technical support or administrative coordination will not be considered.
  • Prior experience or exposure in insurance/underwriting, geospatial or property data products, or UX/UI design collaboration is advantageous, though strong learning agility and natural curiosity matter most.
  • Thrives in a highly autonomous, remote-first environment; comfortable delving into technical details, managing live product triage when needed, and traveling occasionally within the UK for key customer and team sessions.
