Product Manager (Kubernetes / Ansible / IaC)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager (Kubernetes / Ansible / IaC) based in United Kingdom.

This is a fully remote product leadership opportunity focused on infrastructure, developer platforms, and modern cloud operations.

You will own a defined product area from customer discovery through delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.

The role sits at the intersection of product management and technical infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes, Ansible, and infrastructure-as-code workflows.

You will work closely with engineers, designers, technical customers, and go-to-market teams to identify meaningful problems and build solutions that deliver measurable value.

Your decisions will influence product priorities, investment choices, customer adoption, and the evolution of infrastructure management capabilities.

The environment is collaborative, evidence-driven, and designed for people who enjoy working with complex technical products and autonomous teams.

It is particularly well suited to a technical product manager or infrastructure professional transitioning into product management.

Accountabilities

  • Own a defined product area end-to-end, from customer discovery and problem validation through product delivery, launch, adoption, and iteration.
  • Engage regularly with platform engineers, DevOps teams, infrastructure leaders, prospects, and customers to understand real-world production challenges.
  • Investigate customer workflows and identify opportunities related to governance, coordination, visibility, reliability, developer experience, and adoption.
  • Combine customer interviews, product usage data, support insights, commercial feedback, and market research to determine which problems are most valuable to solve.
  • Define clear product requirements, success metrics, recommendations, specifications, and decision records to guide product development.
  • Prioritize initiatives according to customer value, strategic alignment, effort, risk, and potential learning.
  • Partner with Design to explore, prototype, validate, and refine potential solutions.
  • Work closely with Engineering leadership to establish scope, evaluate trade-offs, and support effective product delivery while engineering teams own architecture and technical execution.
  • Collaborate with product leadership on product direction, major investment decisions, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Coordinate launch readiness across Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support.
  • Monitor product adoption and customer feedback after launch, using evidence to determine whether to improve, expand, or discontinue initiatives.
  • Develop a strong working understanding of infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, policy, cloud infrastructure, and execution workflows, including how the product area connects to existing IaC environments.
  • Contribute to a customer-focused product culture built around ownership, collaboration, curiosity, and evidence-based decision-making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
