What You'll Do
- Strengthen the Product Management practice. Implement and improve product standards from discovery to delivery, prioritization, metrics, and delivery rituals and rhythms, and coach other PMs by leading from example. You'll help define what good product management looks like and raise the bar for how the team works.
- Deliver impact as an individual contributor. Talk to users, frame the right problems, and shepherd solutions from idea to launch. You'll partner with business and peer technology stakeholders to understand needs, define problem spaces, and translate insights into a clear, actionable, prioritized product direction - moving between hands-on delivery, roadmap and strategy work, and rollout plans as priorities shift.
- Drive AI forward. In a rapidly developing AI landscape, help advocate, manage, and implement the value-driven use of AI across both what we build and how we build it - especially as product and engineering roles converge.
- Be our regional expert in the UK/EU. Be the product team's representative in the region - championing our work to business partners while bringing the voice of the customer back to GBS Tech. You'll represent the unique needs of our regional partners and collaborate closely with the North America team to balance distinct regional requirements with the strategic direction of our global solutions - ensuring regional insights are understood up front and built into what we deliver globally.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

"I am the person Capital Group is looking for"
- Known as a great team player and collaborator. You build trust and think of others.
- Leads by example and lifts the team. People learn from you and want to follow you-you set the bar through how you work, not just what you say.
- Gets things done and makes decisions. You're a strong individual contributor who's willing to get their hands dirty - jumping in, filling gaps, and seeing the work through - and comfortable making the call and moving forward.
- Thrives in ambiguity as a self-starter. You identify business and associate needs, frame the problems, and convert insights into action.
- Communicates clearly, concisely, and proactively. You adapt across technical, non-technical, and executive audiences, and tend to proactively communicate rather than leave people guessing.
- Builds partnerships that deliver. You have a track record of aligning diverse stakeholders, earning buy-in, and driving engagement among the tech teams to get things moving.
- Brings a modern, AI-forward approach to the craft. You're fluent in product practice end to end-from stakeholder management and discovery through delivery-and instinctively look for ways AI can sharpen how the team works, helping others adopt it in practical, value-driven ways.
- Experienced in user research and rapid experimentation. You're confident forming and testing hypotheses, and skilled at deriving insights from qualitative and quantitative data.
- Partners deeply with architecture and engineering. You co-create solutions, foster trust, and ensure technical decisions align with product vision and business needs.
- Brings enterprise delivery experience (a bonus). A strong record of delivering internal or enterprise-scale tools and platforms is a plus.
