CiteAb is looking for a Biologist with Research or Product Management Experience
Here at CiteAb, we’re looking for a biologist with research or product management experience to join our team and take ownership of some of our scientific web-based products. They’ll be helping us build products that support researchers from across the globe and accelerate scientific progress.

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and proactive scientist to take ownership of some of our key products, including our Explore search platform and widget citation plug-in.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of these products, including collating feedback, carrying out market research, analyzing product usage statistics and combining insights to allow you to build a roadmap of product improvements for our team of developers to implement. As part of a small product team, you will also be involved in supporting colleagues in other areas such as product delivery, account management and improving our operations.

This role will suit someone who has a strong life science background, understands the challenges researchers face and is able to take ideas from diverse sources and synthesize them into a coherent vision for the products - all feeding into our mission to help scientists progress their research more quickly.
Skills and Experience Required
- Have enthusiasm, motivation and the desire to help researchers progress their work more efficiently
- Have a strong scientific background with a degree (or equivalent experience) which is most likely to be in the life sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Immunology or related subject areas), although candidates with other degrees and relevant experience will be actively considered
- One or more years of life science research experience or experience managing scientific products
- The ability to take ideas from diverse sources and synthesise them into a coherent vision and plan for our product development
- Have excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to explain complicated data products to others
- Have the ability to work closely and efficiently with team members as a key part of a small organisation
