Product Manager (MAT Cover)

Key purpose of the role

As Product Manager, you will own the strategy and delivery of a key area of Symprove's digital product experience, taking accountability for the relevant website and eCommerce roadmap. Building on a strong foundation in CRO and eCommerce, you will translate business and customer problems into prioritised, well-defined work, and lead a cross-functional team to deliver measurable outcomes against OKRs.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Product, you will be the go-to for your product area - managing the backlog, running agile ceremonies, and communicating performance to stakeholders across the business. As a growing people-leader, you will also mentor team members and help raise the bar for how the team plans, communicates and delivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the roadmap for your product area, delivering against OKRs and prioritising work against customer value, commercial impact, technical feasibility and strategic priority.
  • Manage the backlog, keeping EPICs and tasks clearly defined through user stories and acceptance criteria, and turning requirements from across the business into deliverable solutions.
  • Lead the acquisition scrum as scrum master, running ceremonies independently, planning two sprints ahead and managing interdependencies across a rolling two-month horizon.
  • Use experimentation to validate ideas and de-risk decisions, keeping data at the heart of the choices the business makes.
  • Partner with Performance Marketing to identify UX opportunities that maximise conversion rate and improve CAC.
  • Drive AI-powered personalisation to tailor the customer experience at scale, testing and iterating to improve relevance and conversion.
  • Own the content, promotional campaigns and performance of your product area, tracking OKRs and reporting throughout the quarter.
  • Combine qualitative and quantitative data to uncover behavioural insight, instigating research where needed and turning findings into action.
  • Present a clear vision and strategy to stakeholders, then lead its execution, communicating progress to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Develop team members through constructive feedback, effective delegation, and encouragement to showcase their work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
