Job Title: Product Manager - Media
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager - Media based in United Kingdom.
This role gives you ownership of a high-impact media product program within an innovative Generative AI advertising environment. You will turn contractual requirements into a clear, sequenced product backlog and drive delivery against demanding milestones. Your scope will span product development, media workflows, data and platform dependencies, design, and enterprise pilot readiness. You will ensure the product reflects the real-world needs of media practitioners, from campaign planning and trafficking to platform activation and optimization.
The role combines hands-on product management with strong stakeholder coordination across internal teams and external partners. You will work in a fast-moving, remote-first environment where clear writing, pragmatic prioritization, and early risk management are essential.
This is a permanent position where the initial delivery program is your first major mission, with opportunities to shape the product well beyond its launch phase.
Accountabilities
- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring every feature is framed around a clear functional outcome with precise, signable acceptance criteria before development begins.
- Translate contractual scope and business requirements into a sequenced backlog that provides clarity for the development team and stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate a 3–4 month product build in partnership with the technical lead, managing dependencies across the wider media product environment, including data, agent, and platform capabilities.
- Coordinate delivery against dependencies involving external data APIs and internal teams whose products or surfaces connect with the solution.
- Run a structured milestone cadence with program stakeholders, communicating what is shipping, what is at risk, and what needs to be descoped clearly and early.
- Own the product design track, briefing and coordinating freelance design support while ensuring design work remains focused on the MVP's highest-value surfaces.
- Prepare the product for its first enterprise pilots, including onboarding flows, operational playbooks, and collaboration with specialist users.
- Develop a measurement approach capable of demonstrating product impact and communicating meaningful outcomes from the pilot.
- Maintain a deep understanding of media practitioners' workflows and ensure product decisions reflect how campaigns are planned, trafficked, activated, and optimized in real-world environments.
- Work closely with engineering, strategy, media specialists, partner teams, and other stakeholders to resolve dependencies and keep delivery aligned with user and business needs.
- Surface delivery risks, dependencies, and scope decisions proactively rather than allowing issues to impact milestones unexpectedly.
- Measure success through milestone delivery, backlog and acceptance-criteria quality, and readiness of enterprise clients for successful pilot adoption.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
