Product Manager, Genomics & Molecular Diagnostics

Location: UK (Hybrid)

An innovative organisation within the genomics and molecular diagnostics space is looking for a commercially minded Product Manager to support the growth and development of a cutting-edge NGS portfolio.

This role sits at the intersection of science, product strategy, and commercial execution, working closely with both R&D and commercial teams to bring new products to market and drive adoption across clinical, research, and pharmaceutical customers.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Genetics, or a related life science discipline
  • Commercial experience in life sciences, diagnostics, genomics, or molecular biology
  • Strong understanding of NGS technologies and their clinical applications
  • Experience collaborating with both scientific/R&D teams and customer-facing commercial functions
  • Ability to gather customer insights and translate them into product strategy
  • Commercial mindset with an understanding of market dynamics, product positioning, and growth opportunities
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required

Desirable Experience

  • Product management, product development, marketing, or commercial strategy experience
  • Background in molecular genetics, cancer genetics, cytogenetics, or clinical genomics
  • Laboratory experience with NGS technologies
  • Experience supporting commercial growth within diagnostics or clinical genomics markets
