You will focus on building data driven features at scale providing relevant and personalised content to our customers, impacting core business and customers metrics.
You will be part of the Discovery & Personalisation product team, responsible for managing the product vision, strategy and development for a suite of services (APIs) and associated customer experiences that are key to solving problems related to how Tesco customers find, discover and build their baskets, across all verticals and in all Tesco markets.
You will be responsible for:
- Defining and building high-scale, low latency personalisation service, including definition and tuning of algorithmic parameters to drive best customer and business outcomes
- A skilled practitioner of Product Management, you will own, manage and prioritise a quantitative focused backlog to deliver meaningful improvements across a wide range of Tesco customer touchpoints, using agreed OKR’s and KPI’s for coverage, relevance and performance

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
