Please note, this is an initial 6-Month FTC (extensions highly likely) and requires 2-3 days per week on-site in London.
Role Summary:
We are looking for experienced Product Managers and Product Owners to support the delivery of complex digital products and services across Government and Defence. Working within multidisciplinary agile teams, you will bring together user needs, business priorities and technical requirements to shape product direction and support delivery from discovery through to live operation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate product vision, objectives, roadmaps and priorities.
- Translate user and business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Own and prioritise product backlogs, balancing user value, business objectives and technical constraints.
- Collaborate with research, design, engineering, architecture and delivery teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage stakeholders, build agreement on product direction and resolve competing priorities.
- Support agile delivery activities, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
- Use data, research and feedback to measure product performance and inform improvements.
- Identify and manage product risks and dependencies, while contributing to product management good practice.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience defining product strategy and roadmaps and/or managing backlogs, user stories and acceptance criteria, depending on the assignment.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary agile teams, collaborating closely with engineering, design and delivery colleagues.
- Strong understanding of user-centred product development and evidence-based prioritisation.
- Experience delivering digital products or services from discovery through to live operation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to balance strategic objectives with delivery requirements and make practical decisions in complex environments.
- Government, Defence or wider public-sector digital delivery experience is highly desirable.
