Next Generation Rating (NGR) Product Managers
Next Generation Rating (NGR) Product Managers work together to provide overarching direction and assurance to achieve the right outcomes for our customers.
We understand user and business needs and work hard to leverage HMRC technology standards during AI enabled, Scaled agile elaboration and creation of products and services. Together we will achieve our NGR outcomes by building the new Non-Domestic Rating (NDR) IT platform for the VO, the NDR Valuation Operating System (VOS).
Using Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and methodology, we set direction, solve problems, forward plan and anticipate challenges to make sure that our products provide value.

You must have proven knowledge of Product Management techniques and a passion to leverage these skills in a high profile, fast paced major transformation program. You will:

- Facilitate the end-to-end product lifecycle through effective & innovative working in SAFe delivery environment through design, delivery and run stages leveraging AI and other technological improvements and using an agreed roadmap for technical product build
- Work with other product / platform managers and Service Owners to ensure products remain in line with the NGR programme vision & aligned to goals that deliver value and NFRs and adhere to HMRC technical standards
- Lead on Stakeholder management with Delivery Partners, HMRC and VO colleagues
- Work with VO Product Owners to prioritise the backlog, challenge and support where needed and be the bridge between business and delivery teams
- Bring work to and support the teams to ensure technical products meet business needs and provide tangible value
- Report on product development progress against relevant elaboration, development milestones and KPI’s
- Manage product release to meet critical milestones and product adoption into CDIO support model
