Role Description
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Digital Services practice, who is responsible for defining and delivering product strategy, vision and outcomes. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, users, and delivery teams, the Product Manager ensures that products and services deliver measurable value, align with organisational objectives, and meet evolving user needs.
The role owns the product roadmap and backlog, prioritises investment decisions, and works collaboratively with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, architecture, data, and change specialists to deliver high-quality digital products and services.

- Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap. You are great with stakeholders and are an engaging communicator, able to speak fluently with the business, designers, engineers and other stakeholders.
- Own the product backlog and balance business value, user needs, risk, cost, policy, regulation and technical considerations when making prioritisation decisions.
- Define success measures, KPIs, and product outcomes
- Monitor product performance and use research, service metrics, analytics, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and shape product priorities.
- Track benefits realisation and ensure investment delivers measurable value.
- Be technology savvy and have a good understanding of how digital services are designed, developed and operated and are comfortable working with the different technical experts being part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Lead the strategic adoption of AI-enabled product management practices, using advanced AI capabilities to deliver superior outcomes faster, unlock new opportunities for innovation, and create measurable business value.
- Act as a role model for AI-enabled delivery, demonstrating how AI can be leveraged responsibly to enhance creativity, insight generation, problem-solving, and operational efficiency across the product lifecycle.
- Be an advocate for user‑centred methodology for digital products while balancing demands to meet business objectives.
- Understand agile and lean practice. You can align product goals with business objectives, user needs, and organisational priorities by working closely with user researchers, service designers, and business stakeholders to understand needs and pain points.
- Have a deep understanding of relevant regulations and the ability to translate compliance requirements into product decisions.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, growth, efficiency, and improved user outcomes to inform product strategy, innovation, and future roadmap planning.
- Monitor emerging AI trends, technologies, and market developments to inform product strategy, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Knowledge of data sovereignty, digital trust, AI governance frameworks, and the implications of sovereign AI within regulated industries such as financial services, government, healthcare, or critical national infrastructure.

Experience
- Experience working as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product leadership role in regulated businesses or critical national infrastructure.
- Experience delivering digital products and services within Agile environments, across large challenging programmes and multi-supplier environments.
- Experience with consulting delivering technically complex transformation programmes.
- Experience in regulated industries such as Government, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Utilities.
- Proven stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Experience translating business and user needs into product requirements.
- Strong understanding of Agile and scaled Agile delivery frameworks.
- Ability to use data, analytics, and user research to inform decision making.
- You have a minimum of 5 year’s experience in a similar role at a consumer-focused company, or government body, and a degree in Business, Management, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field.
