About the role
We're looking for a commercially minded Product Manager to take ownership of the JCB Site Dumper product range. This role sits at the centre of product development, sales, marketing and dealer engagement, ensuring our products continue to meet customer needs and deliver sustainable business growth.
You’ll lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process from concept through to launch, manage the ongoing development and optimisation of existing products, support dealer and customer product training activities, and coordinate product-related marketing initiatives. Working closely with dealers, customers and internal stakeholders, you'll identify market opportunities, monitor competitor activity, and drive product strategies that maximise sales performance and customer satisfaction.
What does this role involve day to day?
- Managing the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, including product briefs, requirements and launch activities.
- Overseeing the current product portfolio, including sales codes, product improvements and cost analysis.
- Supporting product training initiatives for dealers, customers and internal teams.
- Managing and supporting product-related marketing activities.
- Developing strong relationships with dealer teams and internal JCB stakeholders.
- Identifying market opportunities and implementing growth initiatives with regional sales teams.
- Monitoring competitor activity and regional pricing trends to support commercial decision-making.
- Representing customer requirements and market feedback within JCB.
- Communicating market insights across the business to align operational and strategic priorities.
- Supporting dealer capability through training, product knowledge and use of JCB tools.
- Presenting the JCB Site Dumper range at exhibitions, events, trade shows and customer demonstrations.

This will be suited to you if…
- You're from a product management or sales background with strong commercial awareness.
- You're technically minded and/or have knowledge of the construction industry (desirable but not essential).
- You're an excellent communicator with strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
- You're confident engaging with customers, dealers and stakeholders at all levels.
- You're highly organised with strong planning and time-management abilities.
- You're commercially minded with the analytical skills to identify opportunities and drive growth.
- You're able to challenge constructively, manage change effectively and adapt to shifting priorities.
- You're a collaborative team player who is equally comfortable working independently.
- You're entrepreneurial and enjoy turning opportunities into results.
- You're proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems.
- You're resilient, enthusiastic and a strong ambassador for the JCB brand.
