About The Role
Social sustainability is becoming an increasingly important differentiator in customer procurement and bid evaluations across the public sector, private sector and wholesale markets. Customers are looking for organisations that can demonstrate meaningful social impact through innovative programmes, partnerships and solutions.
As Product Manager, Social Sustainability, you will be responsible for shaping and growing BT's social sustainability portfolio. Working across Product, Commercial, Sales, Marketing and external partner organisations, you will identify opportunities, develop new propositions and launch scalable solutions that help customers achieve their sustainability and social impact objectives.
You will play a key role in building BT's social sustainability capabilities, creating repeatable solutions that strengthen our market position, support customer growth and deliver positive outcomes for communities and society.
What You’ll Be Doing
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and own the roadmap for BT's social sustainability product portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to enhance BT's social sustainability capabilities through new products, services and partnerships.

Product Development & Innovation
- Design, develop and launch scalable social sustainability solutions that support customer and bid requirements.
- Build business cases and investment proposals for new social sustainability products and initiatives.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with product, commercial and delivery teams to ensure successful development and adoption of social sustainability solutions.
- Build and manage relationships with key delivery partners to maximise customer value and social impact.
Enablement & Market Growth
- Maintain the Social Value Solutions Playbook and support sales teams in articulating BT's capabilities.
- Work with Marketing to increase awareness of BT's social value and digital skills propositions across target markets.
Essential Skills / Experience
- Experience in Sustainability, ESG, Social Value or Responsible Business.
- Product management or proposition development experience, taking products or services from concept to launch.
- Experience developing business cases and investment proposals for new products or initiatives.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Experience building and managing strategic partnerships to deliver commercial or customer outcomes.
- Experience identifying market opportunities and developing customer-focused solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management across Product, Commercial, Sales and Delivery teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects or initiatives.
