About TryHackMe

TryHackMe is the fastest-growing online cyber security training platform, with a community of more than 9 million learners. We make security skills accessible, hands-on and fun, for individuals and for the businesses that train their teams with us 🥷

About the role

Learning cyber security works better with other people. We're forming a new Social team to own everything on TryHackMe that's about community, collaboration and learning together.

The top priority is Live Classes, a cohort based live learning experience. We've already launched an early version and traction has been very strong. Your job is to turn it into a core product feature that delivers a 10 out of 10 experience for learners. You’ll also work on other new social initiatives, organise and run community events through the product, and experiment with existing social features.

You'll work very closely with the Engagement team. Both teams have the same broad goal of increasing user engagement and retention, and you’ll often work together on shared initiatives. You’ll also work with the B2B teams to help drive awareness and adoption of the Business product through Live Classes.

What you'll own

  • Live Classes: scaling the current concept into a product that is scalable and delivers a 10 out of 10 experience for users. That covers the format, scheduling, instructors, pricing and packaging, the experience during a class, and how classes lead to business adoption.
  • Study groups: continuing to test how learners can study together, and finding the version that sticks.
  • Social features: the activity feed, reactions, friend streaks, and other features that make TryHackMe feel like a community.
  • Social sharing: helping learners share their progress and achievements beyond the platform, so their activity brings in new users.
  • Events: planning and running our community events alongside the Engagement team, including flagship events like Advent of Cyber.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
