About the team

FIS’ Risk Business delivers actuarial and risk management software used by over 1,000 insurers worldwide, as well as leading consulting firms. Our Insurance Risk Suite supports capital optimisation, risk management, and product pricing across on-premise and cloud deployments. You will join the Solutions Management team within a globally distributed Risk Management organisation, contributing to customer excellence and product leadership.

What you will be doing

As a lead product manager within the Risk Solutions Management and Strategy team you will be responsible for Gen AI capabilities in the Insurance Risk Suite specifically around the actuarial modelling. You will use your actuarial modelling experience, knowledge of Gen AI and the FIS solution to help understand our customer’s needs and drive productivity improvements in modelling for our customers. To support this, you will have a detailed understanding of the needs of customers, Insurance Risk suite, all aspects of actuarial modelling and be used to working with and managing large teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Gen AI within aspects of actuarial modelling, working as part of a team within our value streams
  • Working with product and development teams as well as our technology partners
  • Attend customer calls/meetings, occasionally on site, where needed
  • Communication of new service offerings, pricing and all relevant services
  • Supporting sales and consultancy teams
  • Providing thought leadership in form of blogs, videos & conference presentations

What you bring

  • Strong programming skills and capable in coding in Insurance Risk Suite (Prophet) in multiple libraries
  • Proven and deep modelling skills with either existing Gen AI knowledge or desire to learn, work in this area, and passion for transforming our users experience through AI
  • Understanding of all aspects of actuarial modelling and all of the complex system features within the FIS solution that support our customers.
  • Deep knowledge of liability libraries as well as Asset Liability Strategy library
  • Qualified/Part Qualified actuary with strong experience and understanding of regulation and various technical standards in at least one major market
  • Innovative and creative, able to bring new thinking to the organisation and our partners
  • Excellent communications skills and able to liaise with all levels of seniority up to and including board level
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and partners to drive data, automation and integration initiatives.
  • Ability to present information tailored to a diverse audiences (e.g. technical, finance, executive)
