Are you an experienced Product Manager with a technical or product development background? Would you enjoy taking ownership of a specialist product range and helping shape its future?
Our client is a global leader in the design and manufacture of sustainable drainage systems, developing innovative solutions that help manage surface water responsibly across commercial, industrial, residential and infrastructure projects.
They are now looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of their Storm Water Control (SWC) portfolio, developing and optimising the range to ensure it remains competitive, compliant and aligned with customer needs and wider business growth. This is a varied role that brings together product development, market insight, commercial thinking and project management. You will work closely with R&D, Sales, Marketing and Procurement, using customer feedback, market trends, competitor activity and changing industry standards to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for the ongoing development and optimisation of the SWC product range, ensuring products meet market demand, customer expectations and regulatory requirements. You will ideally have experience in product management, product development or technical project management, with a good understanding of how to take a product from idea or improvement through to successful delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing product development and improvement projects from specification through to delivery.
- Analysing market trends, customer feedback, competitor activity and industry standards to identify opportunities.
- Developing clear and accurate technical product specifications for training and product literature.
- Working collaboratively with R&D, Sales, Marketing and Procurement to deliver product initiatives.
- Managing projects to agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
- Building strong customer relationships and using their insight to drive product improvements.
You will bring:
- Proven project management experience, ideally within product development or product improvement.
- Experience working with technical products, ideally within water management, civil engineering, construction products, OEM or a related sector.
- Strong commercial and market awareness, with the ability to turn customer and market insight into viable product opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work effectively across multiple departments.
- A structured and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- The confidence to understand and communicate technical information clearly.

The package includes:
- Circa £50,000 salary, depending on experience
- Annual performance related bonus - OTE £3,000
- Hybrid working, with a minimum of 3 days office based
- 34.5-hour working week
- 25 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays, rising to 28 days with length of service
