Product Manager, AI-Powered Automation
Are you passionate about using AI to solve complex, real-world problems at a massive scale? Amazon's Supply Chain Optimization Technology organization is looking for a Product Manager to lead the vision and strategy for AI-powered automation that will transform how we plan and optimize our global supply chain.
In this role, you'll own the end-to-end product lifecycle for tools that help teams around the world make smarter, faster decisions through our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) teams. You'll work closely with scientists, engineers, and business leaders to design intelligent solutions that take the guesswork out of planning and accelerate how quickly we can launch and scale new capabilities across regions.
This isn't about incremental improvements. You'll be defining what's next, leveraging AI and automation into products that drive real impact across Amazon's supply chain. Key Job Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered automation tools within Amazon's Supply Chain Optimization Technology organization.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering through launch, iteration, and scaling across global regions.
- Partner with scientists, engineers, and business leaders to translate complex AI/ML capabilities into intuitive, high-impact products for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) teams.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to automate and optimize supply chain planning processes, reducing manual effort and improving decision speed and accuracy.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, science, operations, and leadership to ensure successful delivery of product initiatives.
- Develop and communicate clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics that guide development teams and measure business impact.
- Conduct deep dives into customer workflows, pain points, and data to inform product decisions and uncover new automation opportunities.
- Monitor product performance, gather feedback from stakeholders worldwide, and iterate rapidly to improve outcomes and expand adoption.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience with end to end product delivery

- Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making
