Job Description

Job Summary

The overall objective of the Product Manager Treasury within the treasury team is to build towards a real time unified treasury for all Visa Direct products i.e. Collection, Hold, Payouts and Conversions.

All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct product strategy from conception and definition through implementation.
  • Identify new business and market opportunities and create appropriate business plans.
  • Determine market requirements and ensure product alignment with organizational image and objectives.
  • Serve as a central resource interacting with systems, marketing, and sales during product development.
  • Formulate and execute long-term plans for cost and profit control.
  • Promote adoption of new technologies and industry-leading trends.

The overall objective of the Product Manager Treasury within the treasury team is to build towards a real time unified treasury for all Visa Direct products i.e. Collection, Hold, Payouts and Conversions. The focus of the role in the short term is as a follow, this might change to other areas as the platform matures.

  • Develop real-time financial systems at global scale
  • You will be a key point of contact from product team working with different stakeholders from compliance, technology and others with the objective of building a new liquidity and cash management solutions
  • Treasury team is instrumental in managing liquidity to enable Visa Direct to meet speed promises and minimising costs. You will be responsible developing the infrastructure that will enable us to optimise our liquidity management.
  • Visa Direct is rapidly expanding globally, creating new products to consumers and businesses, entering new jurisdictions and offering new products. This is a unique opportunity to lead complex projects integrating new Visa products and markets into our Treasury systems.
  • You will ensure that we implement and update the systems to enable the treasury team to fulfil its obligations as Visa Direct continues to scale into new markets and products.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or a PhD.
  • Experience in creating vision statements and setting product goals.
  • Experience in defining product strategy.
  • Experience in product design.
  • Experience in customer discovery and designing new products based on that discovery.
  • Experience in product execution.
  • Experience in defining and leading plans to achieve product goals.
  • Experience working within matrixed, ambiguous environments and understanding the issuing dynamic within the broader payments ecosystem.
  • Experience working in Agile frameworks and comfortable working in matrixed organizations.
  • Experience in process or core banking best practices and passion to implement these across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, grow, retain, and lead high-caliber technical talent.

  • Treasury or finance, preferably within a regulated EMI, fintech, bank, or payments company
  • Experienced working in regulated areas, comfortable working with compliance officers, auditors and equally discussing technical problems with engineer
  • Proficiency with Excel and financial modelling tools; experience with Treasury systems a plus.
  • Successful track record of working with cross-functional teams
  • Practical knowledge of Agile methodology and proven implementation
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management with an ability to translate business needs to a technical team
  • Results orientated, continues to work toward achievement of goals in the face of obstacles readily integrating changes into work processes and outputs
  • History of working closely and effectively with analyst and technology teams to elicit requirements from stakeholders, challenging them to hone their thinking with the ability to
  • Senior product management experience in Digital, Payments, and Financial Services.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products for issuers.
  • Deep background in issuing institutions and needs when growing/managing large card portfolios.
  • Strong expertise in defining and executing product strategy, product roadmaps, and go-to-market plans leveraging data to inform decision making and secure influence.
  • Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies to collaborate effectively with engineering and design teams.
