Location: London
Location type: Hybrid

The Role…
We're looking for a Product Manager to drive product transformation across the business — someone who makes sure every product initiative has the right strategy, KPIs, and process behind it to actually deliver results. This is a cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of product, development, and leadership. You'll be a key enabler driving transformation projects end-to-end, working closely with product leads across the portfolio to shape and support the product roadmap, and acting as a critical bridge between product and engineering to keep delivery aligned with strategy.
This is an individual, cross-functional driver role rather than a people-management position — success here comes from influence, rigor, and the ability to align product leads and engineering around a shared plan, not from headcount.
What You’ll Be Doing…
Product Transformation Leadership
- Drive product transformation initiatives from concept through delivery, acting as a key enabler across product teams
- Support the definition and embedding of strategy, governance, and success metrics needed to measure and track transformation outcomes
- Build and maintain KPI frameworks and reporting that give leadership clear visibility into product performance and transformation progress
- Identify gaps in product strategy, process, and execution, and help build the plans to close them
- Support and help facilitate workshops with product leads and cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities, roadmap decisions, and ways of working

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Roadmap & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with product leads across the portfolio to shape, prioritise, and support a unified product roadmap
- Act as a key liaison between product and development/engineering teams, translating priorities into clear, actionable execution plans
- Help ensure product decisions are grounded in consistent process and standards across teams, reducing duplication and misalignment
- Track initiative delivery against plan, flagging risks early and supporting course-correction where needed
Process & Governance
- Support and help maintain the operating rhythm for product transformation — decision gates, reporting cadence, escalation paths
- Help establish repeatable, scalable processes that product teams can adopt without heavy oversight
- Prepare clear, structured materials and updates for leadership reviews
Strategic Input
- Bring an external, best-practice lens to product strategy, informed by experience across other organisations or consulting engagements
- Bring a point of view on where new-age AI technologies (GenAI, LLMs, AI agents) can be embedded into the product portfolio, and help shape the roadmap and business case for building around them
- Use data-driven insights to inform product performance, prioritisation, and portfolio decisions
- Support the evaluation of new product opportunities, portfolio simplification, and prioritisation decisions
- Act as a thought partner to product leads, constructively challenging assumptions and pressure-testing plans
What We’re Looking For…
- 5+ years in product management, product strategy, or product transformation
- Prior experience in a product transformation team, strategy consulting environment, or product strategy function strongly preferred
- Background in data, market research, analytics, or information-services businesses is a strong plus — comfort with subscription/data products, research or intelligence platforms, and how product decisions play out in that kind of business
- Experience with new-age AI technologies (GenAI, LLMs, AI agents/copilots) and an understanding of how to design and build product solutions around them — this is a key requirement, not a nice-to-have
- Experience contributing to or leading cross-functional initiatives that span multiple product lines or teams
- Experience building or supporting KPI frameworks, governance structures, and performance reporting with high-impact presentation
- Strong strategic thinking paired with the discipline to execute and follow through
- Good facilitation skills — able to support or run workshops and drive alignment across teams with different priorities
