About the role

Reporting to the Senior Innovation & Portfolio Strategy Manager, the Product Manager will help co-create and execute the Portfolio & Brand strategy plans to accelerate growth across the region.

The Product Manager will be responsible for leading the delivery of the assigned portfolio management projects, including new product launches, supporting on brand and channel strategy plans, customer growth plans, NPD performance when in market, and internal communications of these projects.

  • Project manage the end-to-end development and launch of Branded NPD & New Brands
    • Support execution of launches for a range of key strategic NPD projects
    • Work with key stakeholders to ensure NPD meets needs of consumers & customers across markets in region
    • Track & report on performance including remedial action recommendations and execution where required
  • Work with the Senior Innovation & Portfolio Strategy Manager in the delivery of EMEA’s NPD pipeline
    • Ensure pipeline has sufficiency of ideas & will deliver the value required to drive regional growth ambitions
    • Identify ‘white space’ opportunities that connect with consumers across multiple countries in region
    • Develop best in class sell in’s that connect with customers
    • Track in market performance recommending remedial actions, and reporting progress up to LT level
  • Play a role in the development of the Europe Portfolio Strategy to ensure we have the right product /right purpose /right place to deliver growth for the business including identifying and managing all inputs and outputs of the portfolio over a 24-month horizon in line with TWE Category, Portfolio, Brand & Customer Strategies.

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience
  • Previous practical experience in a branded/consumer facing company. (FMCG/Consumer/Shopper/Insights/Agency/Event Management/Sponsorship etc.)
  • FMCG project management experience is a bonus, but not critical.
  • Solid experience planning and delivering marketing-related activity
  • Strong communication skills as you will be managing multiple stakeholders both internally & externally
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively based on what will make the biggest difference
  • A positive & proactive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and at pace, as such you will need a certain level of resilience
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Rigorous & thorough – you like to deliver plans at certain level without compromising timeliness
  • Must be able to plan effectively to deliver marketing activity in a timely manner
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks and responsibilities aligned to brand strategy
  • Ability to mine through customer, consumer and shopper insights to understand the brand’s opportunity and challenges
