Job location: Mostly remote, 3 days in office, London or Manchester during probation period
Description:
This is a free training course followed by the potential for a role with one of our clients. These job roles are linked directly to free education, and upon completion of our course, you will be equipped to start your new role.
The Role:
Our clients are looking for Product Managers to join their team.
About You & The Role
You will be joining a high-impact team operating as part of a wider enterprise transformation programme aimed at enhancing public sector systems and modernising government services. In this role, you will help bridge business vision with technical execution by applying User-Centred Design (UCD), agile principles, and modern cloud-native development practices.
What Experience We Are Looking For:
- Familiarity with Agile delivery principles, user-centred design concepts, and product backlog management.
- A basic understanding of modern cloud-native technologies, software development concepts, and tooling.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders and translate high-level requirements into clear tasks.
- A proactive mindset with a drive to learn and adapt IBM Services methodologies, processes, and delivery frameworks.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills to help align team objectives with overall program goals.

Some Things You'll Be Working On
- Vision & Strategy Alignment: Defining, creating, and aligning delivery teams around the product’s vision, key goals, and target success metrics.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Gathering insights and requirements from cross-functional stakeholders to secure buy-in on major directional decisions.
- Backlog & Workstream Creation: Translating stakeholder requirements and user needs into clear, actionable workstreams, user stories, and product backlogs.
- Agile & Cloud Delivery: Collaborating closely with cross-functional agile teams to deliver user-centred, cloud-native digital solutions.
- Methodology Application: Adapting and leveraging IBM Services methodologies, delivery artefacts, and best practices to maintain high-quality execution and drive targeted outcomes.
