An Introduction to Primer
Primer is the unified infrastructure for global payments. We give finance and payments teams the visibility and control to reduce complexity, improve performance, and capture more revenue - all from a single platform.
Backed by Sofina, Peak XV Partners, ICONIQ, Tencent, Accel, and Balderton, we're building the payments layer the world's best companies rely on.
Which team will you be joining?
You're joining our Product Marketing team that owns product positioning, launch strategy, and market adoption for Primer's core product lines. We operate as strategic partners embedded in each major domain, working alongside Product and Sales leadership to define how our products win in market. Our PMMs own end-to-end strategy and execution for a significant product area, which means your work gets seen, shaped, and acted on by senior leadership from day one. You'll report to our Product Marketing Lead and work directly with product leads, marketing leads and senior stakeholders across the business.
What will you be doing?
- Build the partner marketing engine end-to-end in collaboration with the Product Marketing Lead, delivering messaging assets and post-launch reporting
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to build product positioning, value propositions, and messaging for partner features, ensuring they roll out consistently in market
- Collaborate with the marketing and partner teams to produce impactful campaigns for our partner ecosystem
- Collect and analyze market insights to update and refine customer/persona journeys for targeted marketing.
- Report on how your initiatives perform - adoption, engagement, and activation - on an agreed cadence
- Write campaign assets, briefs, and enablement material, adapting them across channels without needing a new template each time.

Iโm in my final year doing Economics and I donโt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer โ it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโt need a masters. Letโs look at the ones youโd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for
Must-haves:
- 2-3 years of B2B SaaS marketing or product marketing experience, having owned go-to-market launches end to end.
- Comfort turning technical product detail into messaging that actually lands with a technical buyer or partner, not just a simplified summary
- A skilled communicator with expertise in writing, storytelling, and creating engaging content across multiple channels and formats
- A motivated team player who is humble, ambitious, and eager to drive impact - someone who wants ownership over their work rather than executing a brief
Nice-to-haves:
- Background in payments (a big plus!), fintech or a marketplace with deep understanding on how the industry works
- Experience marketing a two-sided marketplace, balancing supply-side and demand-side value props
You may not like it here
- You'll be building infrastructure as much as writing copy, so there's no established process to lean on yet
- The roadmap is still forming, so your priorities may shift as things evolve
- This role blends strategy and execution, so you'll want to be comfortable doing both
- It's a highly collaborative role, so it suits someone who enjoys working closely across teams rather than independently
โ A typical interview process
- An initial intro call with a Talent Partner
- An interview with the Hiring Manager
- Challenge Stage - Contextualised to the role
- A final, values-alignment interview
