Role Summary
Reporting to the VP Marketing, the Product Marketing Director will lead product marketing and integrated go-to-market strategy across Stats Perform’s Betting, Media and Pro Performance customer segments.
This role will be responsible for translating Stats Perform’s products, data, AI and technology into compelling customer propositions and bringing those propositions to market through coordinated product launches, demand generation, content, customer proof, sales enablement, events, digital marketing and thought leadership.
A major focus will be ensuring marketing activity has a measurable commercial impact. The Product Marketing Director will work closely with Product, Sales, Revenue Operations and the wider Marketing organisation to increase marketing-generated and marketing-influenced pipeline, improve sales effectiveness and build stronger market preference for Stats Perform and Opta.
The role will combine strategic product marketing leadership, people management and strong commercial execution, ensuring priority products are clearly positioned, successfully launched and supported by campaigns that generate demand.
The Product Marketing Director will also lead and develop a team, establishing clear objectives, priorities and accountability while building the capabilities required to deliver high-quality product marketing and integrated campaigns across the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead product marketing strategy across Stats Perform’s Betting, Media and Pro portfolios.
- Develop clear positioning, messaging, value propositions and competitive differentiation that translate complex data, AI and technology capabilities into compelling commercial narratives.
- Own the go-to-market approach for priority products, working closely with Product, Sales and Marketing teams from initial proposition development through launch, adoption and ongoing demand generation.
- Ensure product marketing is grounded in customer needs, market insight, competitive intelligence and clearly defined commercial opportunities.
- Develop audience and buying-centre frameworks that help Marketing and Sales communicate more effectively with different customer groups and decision-makers.
- Set clear product marketing priorities for the team and ensure resources are focused on the products, audiences and markets with the greatest strategic and commercial potential.

Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in B2B product marketing, marketing or go-to-market leadership, ideally within sports technology, SaaS, data, media or betting.
- Strong product marketing experience including positioning, messaging, segmentation, competitive differentiation and product launches.
- Proven experience managing, coaching and developing marketing teams.
- Experience setting team priorities, objectives and performance expectations.
- Proven ability to build high-performing teams and create accountability across multiple work streams.
- Strong track record of translating technical or complex products into clear customer and commercial propositions.
- Experience developing and executing integrated go-to-market and demand-generation programs.
- Demonstrable experience driving pipeline and measurable revenue impact in a complex B2B sales environment.
- Strong understanding of marketing funnels, attribution, campaign measurement and commercial KPIs.
- Experience partnering closely with Product, Sales and Revenue Operations.
- Strong sales-enablement capability and experience creating commercially effective customer-facing materials.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Strong analytical capability and confidence using data to make marketing investment and prioritization decisions.
- Experience managing agencies, budgets and cross-functional programs.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within sports betting, sports media, sports technology or professional sport.
- Understanding of sports book, media, broadcast, team, league and federation customer needs and buying centers.
- Experience marketing data, AI, SaaS or technology products.
- Experience developing account-based marketing programs.
- Experience working with PR, customer marketing and thought-leadership programs.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, website optimization, paid media and SEO.
- Practical experience applying AI to marketing workflows and content development.
- Experience working in an international organization across multiple markets and regions.
