About Euromonitor

Euromonitor International leads the world in data analytics and research into markets, industries, economies and consumers. We provide truly global insight and data on thousands of products and services; we are the first destination for organisations seeking growth. With our guidance, our clients can make bold, strategic decisions with confidence.

Building the marketing department for the future

Marketing at Euromonitor is being reimagined. We're building an AI-powered growth engine: agentic, automated, and data and tech led. A B2B marketing system designed for 2030, not 2015.

Behind it sits an advantage most companies would envy: original research from analysts across 210 markets, and decades of proprietary data built over more than 50 years. Our job is to turn that into growth.

And not incremental growth. We're not here for 10% better. We're building for 10x, and then 100x. That ambition sets the standard for everything we do, and everyone we hire.

So this is for people who want to drive transformation, not wait for it. Restless. Ambitious. More interested in building the engine than operating one someone else designed. If that sounds like you, this is a rare moment to join Euromonitor, and something special to be part of.

Purpose of the role

This role owns the propositions, messaging and positioning for Euromonitor's syndicated portfolio: the research, the data, the platform and the technology behind it. You are the source of truth for what we sell, who it is for, why it wins, and how it is talked about in every market we operate in.

It sits at the intersection of product and technology on one side and commercial on the other, and it works in both directions: translating product and technology strategy into propositions clients understand and buy, and carrying client and market insight back so it shapes roadmap and prioritisation. Strategic in scope, hands-on in delivery. You set the direction, then write the words that carry it.

Key accountabilities

  • Own the propositions, messaging and positioning for the syndicated portfolio, from the top-level narrative to product-level value propositions, and keep them the agreed source of truth everyone sells from.
  • Translate product and technology strategy into client-ready propositions: the audiences, the problems we solve, the proof points and the competitive claims, written as a narrative colleagues can build from.
  • Carry client, market and competitive insight back to product and technology leadership so that it shapes roadmap, packaging and prioritisation decisions.
  • Equip commercial and client-facing teams with the messaging, tools and training needed to improve adoption, conversion and retention.
  • Define and maintain target audience and use-case frameworks to ensure propositions resonate across industries, functions and product ICPs.
  • Mine usage, adoption, pipeline, renewal and competitive data for opportunities and risks across the portfolio, and turn what you find into positioning and commercial recommendations.
  • Own go-to-market for launches and releases: the story, the assets and the enablement that make commercial teams fluent from day one, working alongside colleagues in the UK, US and other regions.
  • Establish a continuous customer insight programme, bringing client, market and competitive feedback into proposition, roadmap and go-to-market decisions.
  • Build the competitive view for the portfolio: who we win against, where we lose, and the proposition, pricing and packaging responses that change the outcome.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What success looks like

  • One current proposition and messaging set for the portfolio, used consistently by marketing, sales and client-facing colleagues in their own conversations.
  • Positioning that shows up commercially: strong win rates against named competitors, and deal quality that reflects the full value of the portfolio.
  • Roadmap, packaging and prioritisation decisions that visibly reflect the client and market insight you bring.
  • Launches that land with a clear story, measurable pipeline contribution and adoption that holds well beyond the launch window.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years in product marketing, including ownership of the positioning and messaging for a portfolio or product line rather than execution of someone else's.
  • All experience must be in B2B marketing: a B2C-only background won't fit this role.
  • A genuine writer, able to produce the narrative, the positioning and the sales-facing materials yourself, and make a complex data and technology proposition simple without making it thin.
  • Credible on data products, platforms and technology propositions, and comfortable in the detail with product and technology colleagues.
  • Commercially fluent: at home with pipeline, win/loss, renewal and adoption data, and able to build a case from it.
  • Able to influence senior colleagues you don't manage, hold a clear position on messaging, and get it adopted across regions.
  • Some experience working with AI, whether in a professional role or through personal projects, is something we look for in every hire joining Euromonitor Marketing right now.
