Product Marketing Manager

Invenia Search is partnered with an international pharmaceutical company seeking a highly motivated Product Marketing Manager to take ownership of an established portfolio of prescription medicines, with a particular focus on commercial launch excellence and pipeline growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmaceutical marketeer to shape product strategy, lead launches and deliver commercial growth across the portfolio.

The Role

  • Owning the full product lifecycle, from strategy and pre-launch through to launch and post-launch optimisation.
  • Developing and implementing product marketing plans, setting and monitoring KPIs to deliver agreed sales and profit objectives.
  • Leading commercial product launches, working closely with Sales, Business Development, Regulatory and PMO teams.
  • Developing compelling product propositions, campaigns and messaging that engage healthcare professionals.
  • Managing the full marketing mix, including positioning, packaging, promotional materials, events and digital/social channels.
  • Developing value propositions and budget impact models to support market access, formulary adoption and commercial performance.
  • Using market data, customer insights and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Working closely with Sales to develop marketing materials, provide product training and maximise field effectiveness.
  • Managing external agencies across creative, media and PR, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials.
  • Ensuring all marketing activity and materials are developed and approved in line with ABPI, GDPR and relevant pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
  • Managing product content across digital platforms, including the company website and app, and monitoring digital performance.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and senior stakeholders, as well as external partners.
  • Supporting projects that promote the portfolio to HCPs and patients.

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Proven pharmaceutical marketing experience in a similar product-focused role.
  • Strong experience of product launches, including pre-launch planning and post-launch optimisation.
  • A strong commercial and strategic mindset, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong market research and customer insight capabilities.
  • Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
