About us
WPP is the world's largest marketing and communications services company. Enterprise Solutions works with global brands on the systems behind their marketing, not just the campaigns that come out of it.
Content Transformation is a new pillar inside WPP Enterprise Solutions. We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to take our go-to-market strategy and make it real: the positioning, the messaging, the evidence, and the material that lets people sell and use what we build. Content Transformation rewires how content is created, managed and activated for those brands, bringing people, processes and platforms together as one system supported by AI. We show clients where their content operation is losing time, money and quality.
About the role
Most product marketing roles ask you to launch a product into a category that already exists. This one asks you to help build the category at the same time.
You will own product marketing for Content Transformation, working directly to the Global Head of Strategy and the Global Head of Product. Your audience is two sided: enterprise clients deciding whether to change how they make content, and the WPP teams who sell and deliver to them.
Our products are technical. Competing well means showing specialist knowledge rather than general enthusiasm, and tailoring the technical value proposition to whoever is in the room. A chief marketing officer, a chief information officer, a procurement lead and a content operations director all need a different version of the same truth, and getting that right is the difference between a shortlist and a win.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
We’re a small startup team, and this is a generalist role. Today, it means architecting the work while doing the work, from writing the copy, building the decks, producing the use cases and assembling the sales documentation. As the pillar scales, the role becomes a specialised strategic function tying together market insight, product development and customer need. If you want to arrive in an established function with a team and a playbook, this is not that job yet. If you want to build the playbook, it is.
What will your day look like?
- Value proposition and positioning: Partner with product management to align the value proposition with market priorities, and tailor the technical value proposition of complex products to the specific audiences buying them.
- Competitive analysis: Understand where we win and lose against platforms, consultancies and production networks, and make sure the difference is clear in everything we put out.
- Customer segmentation: Work out which buyers have which problems, where they enter, and what they need to hear first.
- Sales enablement: Build the material that lets our markets and agencies sell: narratives, decks, one pagers, competitive positioning, case studies and RFP content.
- Writing and content: Produce the words. This is a writing job as much as a strategy job, particularly in the first year.
- Market evidence back into product: Bring what buyers ask for, object to and compare us against into the product roadmap, so decisions are made on evidence rather than instinct.
Who are you going to work with?
You will report to the Global Head of Product and sit inside the Content Transformation Centre of Excellence, a small and deliberately senior team. You will work closely with the product and solutions team, the go-to-market and pillar strategy lead, and the engineers building Meridian. You will also work with WPP's wider marketing function, which leads the category narrative, analyst relations and industry positioning for Content Transformation. Your focus is the product level: what we sell, to whom, and why it wins.

What does success look like?
- Teams across our markets and agencies can explain and sell Content Transformation products without needing us in the room.
- Our positioning holds up in competitive situations, and we know why we win and lose.
- Product decisions are shaped by market evidence you bring in, not only by internal opinion.
- The material exists. Decks, documentation and case studies are current, findable and used.
What do you bring to the table?
- At least ten years of relevant experience. We are open on the route in. Product marketing, consulting, strategy, product management, marketing and communications are all credible backgrounds.
- Deep technical and market knowledge of the software landscape. This is the part we cannot flex on. You should be able to hold a credible conversation about architecture, integration and data, and know how the market is moving and who is moving it. Experience marketing an AI product is a strong advantage.
- A background in complex business-to-business selling, with several stakeholders, competing priorities and long decision cycles.
- Real writing ability, evidenced by work you can show us.
- Competitive analysis and segmentation experience, and the judgement to turn both into positioning rather than a deck of findings.
- A track record of building enablement material that sellers actually used.
- The ability to translate technical capability into business value without losing either audience.
Bonus, not required: exposure to content operations, marketing technology, digital asset or content management platforms, or agency and consultancy environments.
We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office an average of four days a week.
