Product Marketing Manager
Aquent is partnering with a global leader in interactive entertainment and digital commerce to find a dynamic Product Marketing Manager. This is an incredible opportunity to shape the future of a prominent digital storefront, directly impacting how millions of players discover and engage with their favourite games, while empowering developers to bring their creative visions to life. You’ll be at the forefront of launching exciting new third-party titles, driving player acquisition and engagement, and contributing significantly to the platform’s commercial success.
This is a 12 months contract, with potential to extend. The rate is to be confirmed (via LTD). The role is mostly remote (UK remote).

Our client operates a leading curated digital storefront for PC and Mac, designed with both players and creators in mind. This platform is dedicated to providing exceptional games for gamers and ensuring a fair deal for game developers. When a game is purchased on this storefront, a significant portion of the price goes directly to developers, empowering them to invest in creating bigger and better games and fostering innovation in the industry.
The Opportunity
As a Product Marketing Manager on the marketing team for this innovative digital storefront, you will play a pivotal role in bringing captivating third-party products to market. You will be instrumental in building and executing specialized go-to-market plans, managing key account relationships, and meticulously project managing every beat of new product launches. This position offers a unique chance to blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution, directly influencing player experiences and developer success.

What You Will Do
- Build and project manage the tactical execution of go-to-market strategies by coordinating with multiple departments and marketing functions, including merchandising, social media, product lifecycle management (PLM), and influencer management.
- Oversee timely execution of storefront channel support launches, including supporting copywriting, asset coordination, team communication, and release management.
- Analyze the impact of various marketing campaigns and broader publishing events on player acquisition, engagement, and commercial business KPIs, providing valuable feedback to external accounts.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts to ensure priority marketing beats are recorded and tracked internally.
- Contribute to departmental reporting, best practice documentation, and post-mortem analyses.
- Develop innovative and engaging marketing programs that encompass the entire player journey, from user acquisition to retention and monetization.
- Approach marketing plans with an international mindset to optimize product beats and leverage local support where appropriate.
- Manage a product’s lifecycle throughout its campaign, making measurable, data-driven decisions to meet or exceed internal and external KPIs.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience in marketing, account management, or digital retail business.
- Proven experience in relationship management and project management.
- Strong data competency, with confidence in analytics tooling and leveraging big data sets to define best practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of popular marketing channels, best practices, and optimization techniques.
- Exceptional workload prioritization skills, with the ability to manage requests from multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and understand differing departmental strategies.
- Strong understanding of how to build brands through leveraging owned channels and relevant marketing tools.
- Experience evaluating creative materials and assets based on strategic briefs.
- Proven ability to craft and execute impactful marketing programs and events.
- Excellent partner management skills.
- Experience with retail/e-commerce KPIs.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- A solid understanding of the gaming industry and current trends.
- Ability to lead a strategy based on market understanding and challenge existing processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively across an international team.
