Role Overview:
Skyhigh Security has an exciting opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager, Data Security to help drive the growth and market leadership of our data security portfolio.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role responsible for understanding the market and our buyers, defining compelling positioning and messaging, creating content that moves buyers through the journey, and enabling Sales, Partners and Demand Generation teams to achieve measurable business results.
You will serve as the product marketing lead for solutions aligned to the needs of Data Security and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) buyers, helping Skyhigh Security articulate a differentiated point of view on protecting sensitive data across cloud, web, private applications, email, endpoints and emerging AI use cases.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on product marketing experience in data security, with direct familiarity with categories such as DLP, DSPM, CASB, cloud data security, insider risk, data governance, compliance or AI-related data protection. This is not a generalist cybersecurity PMM role. We are looking for someone who understands how data security buyers think, how they evaluate solutions, and what it takes to turn differentiated capabilities into pipeline, wins and growth.
The right candidate combines strong cybersecurity domain knowledge with exceptional messaging, storytelling and go-to-market execution. You should be equally comfortable interviewing customers, developing differentiated positioning, writing an executive-level presentation, creating a campaign asset, enabling a seller or partner, working with Demand Generation on an integrated campaign, or representing Skyhigh Security in a webinar or analyst conversation.
This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing and will work closely with Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, Communications, Customer Success and other teams around the world.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Market and Buyer Perspective
- Develop a deep understanding of Data Security and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) buyers, including their priorities, pain points, buying triggers, evaluation criteria and evolving requirements.
- Synthesize insights from customers, prospects, analysts, competitors, Sales and the broader market into actionable recommendations for positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy and product direction.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape across data security markets and identify opportunities for Skyhigh Security to differentiate and win.
- Bring an outside-in perspective to Product, Marketing and Sales decisions and serve as an internal expert on the buyer and market.
- Translate market and buyer insight into clear GTM priorities that help drive pipeline creation, competitive wins, expansion and revenue growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
