Fraud teams have never faced greater pressure.
They're expected to block increasingly sophisticated attacks, protect genuine customers, reduce operational costs and support business growth, all while AI accelerates the speed and scale of fraud, and organised criminal networks operate across organisations, sectors and the customer lifecycle.
In that environment, making confident decisions requires a broader view of fraud risk than any single organisation can build alone.
For more than 30 years, Synectics has been at the forefront of fraud prevention helping the UK's leading banks, building societies, lenders and insurers tackle exactly that challenge. By combining trusted, real-time cross-sector fraud intelligence with configurable decisioning, we help organisations identify emerging risk earlier and make more confident decisions.
As we enter an accelerated growth phase, we're looking for a commercially minded Product Marketing Manager – Finance & Banking to lead our vertical marketing programme. This is a rare opportunity to shape how one of the UK's leading fraud intelligence companies is positioned in a rapidly evolving market. You'll help drive the next phase of Synectics' growth, working alongside product, sales and subject matter experts to define messaging, lead product launches and create insight-led campaigns that influence how fraud leaders think about strategy, not just technology.
Why join us?
- Shape the market. Help redefine how fraud intelligence is positioned in one of the UK's most important technology sectors.
- Own a vertical. Lead the go-to-market strategy for finance and banking, influencing positioning, messaging, launches and commercial success.
- Work with experts. Collaborate with product leaders, fraud specialists, data scientists and commercial teams who are genuinely changing how organisations tackle fraud.
- Make a visible impact. This is a brand-new role with collaboration across Product, RevOps, Sales and of course Marketing.
- Grow with us. Join an ambitious, collaborative business where you'll have the freedom to challenge thinking, test ideas and help shape the next phase of Synectics' growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
