Our software is used by many of the world leading e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, and 3PL shippers due to us having over 1000 carriers integrated into our platform, nearly 3 times more than our competitors!

As ecommerce, AI and changing buyer expectations continue to reshape the market, we're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help customers understand the value of our products and ensure nShift continues to stand out in competitive market.

About the Role

Product Marketing sits at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success.

Product Management defines what we build and why. Product Marketing ensures the market understands, values and adopts it. As our Product Marketing Manager, you'll become the voice of the market inside nShift, bringing together customer insight, competitive intelligence and market trends to shape our go-to-market strategy and commercial messaging.

You'll work closely with Product Management to translate product capabilities into compelling customer value, develop differentiated messaging, create engaging product and customer content, and help ensure every product has a clear and consistent story throughout its lifecycle.

This is a strategic individual contributor role with broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to influence how one of the world's leading delivery management platforms is positioned in the market.

What You'll Do

  • Be the voice of the market
    • Develop a deep understanding of buyers, customers, competitors and industry trends. Use customer insight, market research, win/loss analysis and competitive intelligence to inform Product, Marketing and Sales, ensuring our go-to-market strategy reflects changing customer needs.
  • Define product value
    • Partner with Product Management to translate product capabilities into clear customer outcomes and differentiated value propositions. Develop messaging that helps buyers understand not just what our products do, but why they matter.
  • Go-to-market
    • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for products, working with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Sales Enablement to ensure products are successfully introduced, understood and adopted.
  • Tell compelling product stories
    • Create and maintain product messaging and customer-facing content including blogs, webinars, customer stories, presentations, and thought leadership. Work with customers, partners and internal experts to bring real customer outcomes to life and present them on stage at events and in studio recordings.
  • Build customer advocacy
    • Partner with Customer Success and Marketing to identify customer success stories, speakers and case studies.
  • Monitor the market
    • Track competitors, emerging technologies, AI developments and changing buyer behaviour. Identify opportunities that strengthen nShift's positioning and keep our messaging relevant as the market evolves.
  • Leverage AI
    • Use AI to accelerate research, competitive analysis, content development and market insight. Help communicate how AI is transforming delivery management and ecommerce while continuously improving how Product Marketing operates.
  • Measure and optimise
    • Track product adoption, content engagement, competitive performance, pipeline influence and market feedback. Use insight and data to continually strengthen messaging, go-to-market effectiveness and product adoption.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years' experience in Product Marketing, Solutions Marketing or Product Management within relevant technologies, or retail, supply chain, carrier businesses.
  • Proven experience developing product positioning, value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent storytelling and writing skills with the ability to simplify complex technology into compelling customer value.
  • Experience creating product content including blogs, customer stories, webinars, presentations, product pages and sales messaging.
  • Strong customer focus with experience conducting customer interviews, gathering market insight and translating feedback into commercial messaging.
  • Experience analysing competitors, market trends and buyer behaviour to strengthen positioning and identify opportunities.
  • Experience with AI both in the role and how it is transforming delivery management.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across Product, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot and AI productivity tools.
  • Relevant degree and practical experience.

  • You combine strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach and are equally comfortable interviewing customers, writing a webinar abstract, analysing competitors or developing a value proposition.
  • You enjoy collaborating across teams, influencing without authority and bringing people together around a common commercial story.
  • You're an excellent communicator who can make complex ideas simple, always keeping the customer and their business outcomes at the centre of every message.
  • Most importantly, you're passionate about helping great products succeed by ensuring customers understand the value they create.
