The Role

Grass Valley is looking for a Product Marketing Manager who can turn complex technology into clear, compelling stories that resonate with customers.
This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing. You’ll develop the positioning, messaging, and campaigns that bring Grass Valley’s products and solutions to market, helping customers understand not simply what our technology does, but what it makes possible.
The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of technology with excellent marketing instincts. You should be comfortable digging into sophisticated products and workflows, identifying what really matters to customers, and translating those insights into simple, differentiated marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex technologies, products, and workflows into clear, customer-focused positioning and messaging
  • Understand how individual Grass Valley products fit within our broader portfolio and turn that alignment into cohesive solution stories
  • Develop product and solution marketing strategies, campaigns, and go-to-market recommendations
  • Partner closely with Product Management to understand roadmaps, customer needs, competitive positioning, and market opportunities
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, and regional teams to develop campaigns that generate awareness, engagement, and demand
  • Create messaging and content for product launches, digital campaigns, events, presentations, sales enablement, and customer communications
  • Identify opportunities to move conversations beyond individual product features toward customer outcomes and complete workflows
  • Develop competitive positioning that clearly communicates Grass Valley’s differentiation
  • Help ensure consistent messaging across products, solutions, and customer touchpoints
  • Work with customers and partners to identify compelling use cases, proof points, and stories

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Qualifications

  • Strong product marketing experience, ideally within media technology, broadcast, live production, cloud/software, professional video, or a related technology market
  • Exceptional ability to simplify complicated technical concepts without oversimplifying their value
  • Strong strategic thinking and an ability to connect individual products to a larger portfolio and customer story
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to think both creatively and commercially
  • Experience developing positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies, and integrated campaigns
  • Comfortable working across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, customers, and partners
  • An understanding of the rapidly changing media-production landscape—including the convergence of hardware, software, cloud, and hybrid workflows—is highly desirable

Who You Are

  • You’re curious about technology, but you think first about the customer.
  • You can sit with an engineer or Product Manager, understand a sophisticated technical discussion, and then walk away knowing how to explain its importance in one clear sentence.
  • You should have a technology marketing focus, with experience in media a big plus.
  • You see connections across products and technologies and can turn those connections into a larger story.
  • You understand that great product marketing isn't about saying more. It's about identifying what matters most and making it impossible to miss.
  • And you see value in simplicity.
