About The Opportunity
Join our fully customer-funded, engineering-driven team at VictoriaMetrics, the creators of the three open source databases - VictoriaMetrics, VictoriaLogs, VictoriaTraces - that are the foundation of the VictoriaMetrics Observability Stack. Our technology is trusted by leading companies like Grammarly, Spotify, Roblox, and Wix.
We are seeking a creative, collaborative, and strategically-minded Product Marketing Manager to join our team to focus on our open source products. This role will serve as a critical link between Product, Development, Marketing - and from there our users, ensuring that we deliver the right solution to the right audience with the right message at the right time across our product offering.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the messaging for our open source products, as well as the core public-facing assets that present our products, such as product webpages, product profiles, etc.
- Develop and promote product marketing resources including case studies, guides, research articles, webinars, white papers, and videos to effectively communicate the value proposition of our open source products, in conjunction with our Product Marketing team.
- Plan and help execute cross-channel marketing campaigns utilizing content, email, web, social media, and ads to drive brand awareness, engagement, and adoption.
- Maintain and expand competitive intelligence, including monitoring the marketplace, creation of product cards, and research of related verticals.
- Facilitate cross-departmental training to ensure messaging consistency and discipline.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and development teams to assist with successful product and feature launches.
- Work with our Digital Marketing Manager on content for our social media channels, content calendar, and monitor performance metrics to optimize results.
- Collaborate with our Community Team as it relates to our open source activities.
- Provide ongoing support to keep product collateral and sales enablement resources up-to-date.
- Support as necessary additional initiatives driven by the Marketing team.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in (product) marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Excellent business writing skills with experience crafting compelling messaging for technical products.
- Familiarity with product marketing principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Experience working in B2B marketing.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in monitoring, observability eco-systems.
- Experience and/or knowledge of open-source technologies or open-source technology vendors.
