About the Role
As a Product Marketing Manager, Science, you will serve as the strategic bridge between Mistral's Science organisation and our Marketing, Product and Go-to-Market teams. Your mission is to translate cutting-edge AI research into compelling product narratives, technical positioning and customer-facing content that helps developers, enterprise buyers and industry influencers understand the value of our models.
You will work closely with researchers and engineers to provide industry-leading thought leadership, bring new models and capabilities to market, and ensure launches are technically accurate, commercially relevant, and easy to understand. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical curiosity with exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
What You Will Do
- Drive Technical Product Marketing
- Develop positioning, messaging and technical narratives for Mistral's foundation models and research innovations.
- Translate complex AI concepts—including pre-training, post-training, reasoning, evaluation and inference—into clear, compelling customer value.
- Partner with Science, Product and Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure technical accuracy and market relevance.

Lead Technical Launches
- Own the technical marketing components of model launches, including launch messaging, technical blogs, documentation, presentations and demos.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Communications and Developer Relations to deliver cohesive go-to-market campaigns.

Create World-Class Technical Content
- Produce technical blogs, whitepapers, benchmark analyses, presentations, demo videos, webinars and workshops.
- Build sales enablement materials that help technical and commercial teams confidently communicate Mistral's differentiated capabilities.
- Develop content that supports enterprise buyers, developers and AI practitioners throughout their evaluation journey.

Enable Internal and External Audiences
- Equip Sales, Solutions Engineering and Partnerships teams with technical messaging, competitive insights and customer-facing assets.
- Support customer briefings, executive meetings and strategic technical conversations.
- Partner closely with Developer Relations and Solutions Architects to ensure consistent technical messaging across all customer touchpoints.

Represent Mistral's Technical Leadership
- Support analyst briefings, technical advisory boards and industry events.
- Help position Mistral as a thought leader by communicating advances in frontier AI research to external audiences.
Who You Are
Experience
- 5+ years in Product Marketing, Technical Product Marketing, Solutions Engineering or Technical Marketing within AI, machine learning, cloud infrastructure or enterprise software.
- Experience working closely with research or engineering teams to launch highly technical products.
- Strong understanding of large language models and modern AI systems. Experience with model training, evaluation, or inference is highly desirable.

Technical Skills
- Ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear business value.
- Excellent written communication with experience creating technical content for both technical and executive audiences.
- Familiarity with enterprise AI deployments, APIs, cloud infrastructure and developer ecosystems.
Mindset
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working across Science, Product, Marketing and Go-to-Market teams.
- Curious, analytical and passionate about frontier AI.
- Low ego, pragmatic and excited by fast-moving environments.
Academic Background
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, AI, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
It Would Be Ideal If You
- Have experience working directly with AI researchers or ML engineering teams.
- Have launched AI models, developer platforms, or highly technical enterprise products.
- Have created technical product marketing content that influenced customer adoption or enterprise purchasing decisions.
- Enjoy translating breakthrough research into stories that resonate with customers.
- Are based in Paris, willing to relocate, or open to traveling regularly to our Paris office.
