Product Marketing Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
WORKING SCHEDULE: Hybrid
LOCATION: Basildon, UK
Main Purpose of the Job
The Product Marketing Specialist will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will work closely with colleagues from the Sales & Marketing, Product, and other relevant departments within the business, as well as liaise with third-party suppliers and the IVECO Dealer Network. Focus on activities will encompass a broad range of operational marketing activities including market analysis, product benchmarking, campaign strategy creation and deployment, lead management, and supplier management.
Key Activities
The main responsibilities of the Product Marketing position include:
- Conduct market research and professional data analysis to provide insight and help develop and drive the marketing strategy.
- Monitor market size and trends by relevant segment, product, and customer mission. Reporting monthly by market segment, product segment, and geographic region.
- Monitor and evaluate Iveco sales performance versus competition and identify opportunities with the BLs.
- Propose commercial campaigns to address shortcomings in market performance and opportunities to grow.
- Manage the creation, planning, implementation, and monitoring of national marketing campaigns and initiatives in line with the marketing strategy through supervision and management of the operational tasks within the team.
- Help to drive market growth through effective management of the lead generation programme.
- Provide marketing support to the IVECO Dealer Network to encourage local targeted marketing activity.
- Coordination of IVECO marketing programmes and initiatives.
- Cooperate with BLs to monitor effective demo activity through Market and Network demo fleet.
- Third-party supplier management.
- Management of the IVECO Sales Comparison Tool (CDS).
- Preparation of presentations to support the Sales & Marketing team.
- Supporting training and events delivering presentations where appropriate.
- Budget management.
- Manage administration tasks within the team (platforms, systems & reporting) through the assignment of tasks.
- Supervise and oversee activities and responsibilities of the operational marketing intern.
- Support with the interview and onboarding process of marketing interns.
- Ultimately support the IVECO UK Sales & Marketing team in all efforts aimed at supporting the development of IVECO’s Sales and Marketing strategy, enhancing dealers and customers confidence in our products, and gaining market share in our segment.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience in a product marketing role.
- Experience in market analysis, interpretation, and strategy setting to execute positive results.
- Automotive experience preferred, ideally LCV & Truck with experience of EV and Hydrogen.
- Degree or equivalent in Marketing and/or Business, Business Management.
- Impeccable communication skills.
- Advanced IT competencies, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Full clean UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to travel, with some overnight stays.
