We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual to join our team to support the business in further growing our flagship award-winning product: AIVR. AIVR (Automated Intelligent Video Review) is a state-of-the-art video technology system used by thousands of people in the rail industry. AIVR has won dozens of awards and is recognised as the market leading solution, but we are building many more opportunities both in existing and new markets which will further accelerate our growth.

Role Summary

You’ll play a key part in supporting our product team — learning the product inside out, assisting with configuration and administration, and helping to deliver high-quality outcomes for our customers in the rail industry.

The role would suit someone technically curious, with a practical and pragmatic approach who feels they can both deliver precise, detail-oriented work and yet also be flexible and responsive when required.

Candidates without directly comparable experience should still apply if they believe they can demonstrate the right attitude and aptitude, and/or have transferable skills.

Responsibilities

  • Learn about all aspects of our product including its administration to become a recognised expert within the business.
  • Develop an understanding of our customers requirements, and build knowledge of the rail industry.
  • Carry out tasks as directed by other members of the product team to support the delivery of projects and our product roadmap.
  • Provide support to our service & operations team by creating quality documentation.
  • Follow internal processes to maintain product and configuration quality.
  • Perform product administration and configuration changes, both routinely and in response to arising customer and internal needs.
  • Carry out proactive tasks to assist customers and monitor the performance of our product.
  • Assist the product team in completing validation and ground truth exercises of our machine learning models and positioning data.

Personal Qualities and Experience

Essential

  • A collaborative, positive & flexible approach.
  • The ability to learn quickly and accurately communicate detailed technical information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – written, on the phone and in person.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret, analyse and perform tests robustly.
  • Confident user of technology.
  • A keen eye for detail – ability to execute detailed tasks accurately.
  • Well organised.
  • Familiarity with MS Office/Google GSuite productivity software (Docs, Sheets)

Desirable

  • Familiarity with or enthusiasm for rail.
  • Previous experience within a product or technical support role.
